What awaits you
Work-based training
During the first few weeks, you will hone your mechanical skills. This is followed by basic training in manual and computer-aided drafting using specialist CAD programmes for 3D drawings and plant engineering. You will get to know all the key departments at Venti Oelde: in addition to the technical office, these include production and customer service. As we manufacture not only industrial fans but also plant systems, you will gain an insight into both pure mechanical engineering and plant engineering.
Vocational school
You will attend the vocational college in Beckum once or twice a week. To help you prepare for Parts 1 and 2 of the final examination, we offer you the opportunity to take part in exam preparation courses. If you perform well or have the relevant prior knowledge, you have the option of shortening your training period.
Further training opportunities
Once you have completed your training as a Technical Product Designer, a wide range of further training options will be open to you. For example, you can gain further qualifications to become a state-certified technician (e.g. in mechanical engineering) or an industrial foreman in metalworking. Specialisations in areas such as CAD/CAE, design, product development, project management or quality management are also possible.
